Zeus's Victory Cry

Writer: jamespederson5jamespederson5

If you've checked out my Greek mythology webpage and seen my own iteration of the Titanomachy, you may have noticed that after the Gaian Generation Olympians' victory over the Titans, Zeus yells "Opa!"

Why is that?

I've always wanted to make a Greek god say "Opa", a common Greek expression often used for celebrations.

After all of my original photos were wiped clean by "accident" and I started uploading new art, I finally had this opportunity.

The idea here is that Zeus is celebrating victory over the Titans and banishing them to Tartarus (the pits of Hell in Greek mythology).

Perhaps one day, I'll draw Dionysus serving wine at a taverna!
