A Random Thought I Had About the Norse gods

Writer's picture: jamespederson5jamespederson5

In Norse mythology, the giants emerged from the sweat of the primeval being Ymir.

Buri, the grandfather of Odin and his two brothers, was licked from ice by the primeval cow Audumbla.

The Norse gods are at least some part giant.

Ergo...

The Norse gods are made of sweat and ice

Since the Earth was made from the body of Ymir, that means the Scandinavian Earth itself is related to the giants...which therefore means that the Norse gods share a common ancestor with the land!
